Banana Breeze: from unstable demand to 1,500+ qualified leads and 2× revenue in 12 months.

A Calgary cleaning company already running ads and posting on their own, but with no stable pipeline, prices they were afraid to raise, and a market (Calgary cleaning) that's one of the most saturated in Alberta. We rebuilt the brand, the content, the ads, and the follow-up into one working system. One year later, revenue doubled.

The client

A Calgary cleaning business with proven service, but no system to grow on.

Banana Breeze Cleaning offers residential and commercial cleaning across Calgary — regular, deep, move-in/move-out, and Airbnb turnovers. The owner had already tried advertising, was posting on social media, and was getting occasional jobs. On the surface everything looked normal. Under the surface, nothing was predictable: leads came in bursts, ad spend wasn't tied to outcomes, and prices stayed low out of fear. It's the exact state we see most often — not a broken business. A business without infrastructure.

The challenge

The problem wasn't the niche. It was the packaging, the process, and the absence of a system.

When we started, Banana Breeze had 167 followers, 8,395 accounts reached, and an ad account running without a strategy behind it. Calgary's cleaning market is one of the most saturated in Alberta. Competing on price in a market like that is a guarantee of thin margins. The real leverage was somewhere else.

Before working with us Instagram статистика Banana Breeze до сотрудничества

Instagram insights at the start — low reach, no consistent growth, no system behind the numbers.

Inconsistent content & weak positioning

Posting happened in bursts without a strategy. The brand read as "another Calgary cleaner" — nothing that made a potential client stop scrolling.

Ads without a system

Meta campaigns were running, but creative, audience, and offer weren't tested deliberately. Spend was going out; attribution wasn't coming back.

Unstable demand

Leads came in clusters, not a pipeline. Quiet weeks forced rushed promotions, which trained the market to expect discounts.

Prices held down by fear

The owner wanted to raise prices but kept them low "in case nobody bought." With no positioning work, that fear was rational.

No follow-up, leads leaking

Inbound messages were answered when someone saw them. Every minute of delay in a price-sensitive market costs a booking.

Marketing and sales disconnected

The ads weren't built around a conversion system. There was no scripted response, no qualification, no link between the lead and the close.

What we built

One integrated system: brand, content, ads, and automation.

We didn't launch a new campaign on top of the existing chaos. We rebuilt the business's acquisition infrastructure piece by piece, so that by the time a lead arrived, every step after the click was already working.

Track 1 · Brand

Packaging & positioning

  • Instagram & Facebook presence repositioned around the "insured, on-time, Calgary-local" story
  • Visual system reworked, grid, colors, bio, CTAs across IG and FB
  • Offer architecture reframed so higher prices looked earned, not imposed
  • Perception shift that made a 30% price increase possible
Track 2 · Content

Content strategy & trust

  • Content strategy mapped to the ICP: busy Calgary households & commercial clients
  • Structured photo + video shoots with written technical briefs for the team
  • Calgary-local influencer partnerships on a barter model, reach + credibility, not spend
  • Consistent weekly cadence, Reels, posts, Stories, before/after proof
Track 3 · Ads

Performance marketing

  • Meta Ads rebuilt per service line, carpet, move-in/out, initial deep clean, recurring
  • Hypothesis-driven creative testing, kept only what cleared CPL targets
  • Budget re-allocated in-flight toward winners, cut from losers
  • Cost per lead optimized into the $5–$15 range across services
Track 4 · Automation

Automation & speed-to-lead

  • Zapier-powered SMS automation wired into the Meta lead form
  • Every new lead got an instant text, response time dropped to seconds
  • Automated follow-up sequence for leads that didn't book on the first message
  • Lead data captured, timestamped, and routed to the owner's phone
Track 5 · Sales

Sales scripts & conversion

  • Advisory support on messaging scripts for inbound DMs and SMS replies — developed together with the client
  • Qualification questions that filter tire-kickers without burning real leads
  • Pricing framed around outcome, not hours, justifies the raise
  • Lead-to-client conversion rate pulled upward by process, not persuasion
Ongoing

Reporting & iteration

  • Monthly dashboards tying ad spend to booked jobs, not just leads
  • Weekly creative refresh, new angles tested, winners promoted
  • Bookings pipeline tracked 2 weeks out, predictable, not reactive
  • Growth decisions grounded in numbers, not gut feel

Why this worked

SMM + Paid Ads + Automation, running as one mechanism.

The jump in results didn't come from a single track. It came from connecting them. Stronger brand → higher prices possible. Better content → cheaper, more qualified leads. Instant SMS → higher conversion. No single piece would have doubled the business. Every piece together did.
