Website design in Calgary, built around what your buyers search

A lot of owners pay for a website twice: once to build it, and again when it brings no enquiries. We start from what people in Calgary type into Google for your service and write the pages around those searches. The site goes live with tracking from the first day.

WEBSITES WE BUILT

Two websites, with the numbers attached.

The first is a Calgary hair colourist whose clients came only from Instagram, Facebook and referrals. The second is a ten year old Canadian onesie brand whose store had aged and sold almost nothing in summer. Every number comes from the published case study.

  • 2.35Average Google position for the homepage of The Tone Doctrine, a site structured around what people in Calgary search for in colour work. Case study
  • 33Direction requests in the first month from the Google Business Profile launched with the same site. Case study
  • SummerAfter the Unichill store redesign, the quiet season sold enough to cover the brand's running costs. Case study
  • B2BOrganic enquiries for custom orders through new pages for teams, brands and retailers. Before, those orders arrived by chance. Case study

WHAT A WEBSITE COSTS

How much does website design cost in Calgary?

THE CALGARY MARKET

Web design prices in Calgary, 2026

From our breakdown of what a website costs in Calgary: DIY builders run $20 to $60 a month plus your time, and freelancers charge $1,500 to $5,000. Agency template builds sit at $4,000 to $10,000, custom builds at $10,000 to $30,000 and up.

Hosting and maintenance add $30 to $150+ a month. Many quotes also assume you will write the text yourself, and that is where projects stall.

HOW WE PRICE

A fixed price per kind of site

Four kinds of site, each with a fixed price, a scope list and a delivery date: a landing page for ads, a five-page starter site, a custom site and a full site. Every price is on the pricing page, and any of them can be spread over six monthly payments.

Copy, tracking and launch are inside the price. New pages after launch are priced per page, so the site grows without a new project. Nothing beyond the agreed scope is added without it in writing first.

THE FIRST SCREEN RULE

A service business website has to answer three questions before anyone scrolls: what you do, where you do it, and how to start. If your current site misses one of them, fix that before paying for a new design.

WHICH SITE DO YOU NEED

Four kinds of site, sorted by the job, not the page count.

Landing page

One page, one offer, one button, built for people who arrive from Google or Meta ads. Sold together with the ads, never on its own.

Starter site

Five pages that make you findable by name and back up your Google profile. For businesses whose clients come from the map and word of mouth.

Custom site

Five pages built around your buyers from search research, with the structure and words decided before design. For businesses where one job pays for the site.

Full site

Eight to fifteen pages at launch, with a page for each service and area and a blog that grows monthly. For many services, several districts, or search as a main channel.

THE ONE-JOB RULE

If one average job for you brings in less than $1,000, a starter site or a landing page is enough. If one job brings in $2,000 or more, a custom site pays for itself with the first client it lands. The full reasoning is in which website does your business need.

HOW WE WORK

We decide the pages from search data before anyone designs them.

STEP 01

Search research

What people in Calgary type into Google in your category, and what your competitors' sites already say. The list of pages comes out of this.

STEP 02

Pages and copy

We write every page, so the project does not wait on your text. Each service gets a page built around a search people make, with reviews and real photos of your work.

STEP 03

Build and tracking

A fast static build for landing pages and smaller sites, WordPress when you need a blog and monthly pages, or your existing platform. The phone number is tappable on mobile, and tracking counts every call, form and click on Book from day one.

STEP 04

Launch and report

The site goes live linked to your Google Business Profile. Every month you see how many people visited and how many pressed Book, with what we change next.

WHERE AI FITS

We run 14+ live AI workflows in our own operations. On a website project they speed up the search research, the first drafts of page copy and the monthly report. People make the strategy and design decisions, and nothing ships unreviewed.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

What goes into a site that brings enquiries.

Search research

The searches your buyers make in Calgary, turned into a page list before any design starts.

Copywriting

Every page written by us in plain language, around the questions buyers ask before they call.

Design and build

Static or WordPress, or your existing platform, checked on a phone before launch, with a booking or quote button on every page.

Real photos

Your own work and team instead of stock, from a shoot or from your phone with our shot list.

Tracking

GA4 with events on calls and forms, so the report shows enquiries as well as visits.

Google Business Profile

Linked to the site and set up properly. For a local service business the profile often brings more calls than the site in the first year. See local SEO in Calgary.

QUESTIONS OWNERS ASK

Before you pay for a new website.

How much does a website cost with Syntri Labs?

Each kind of site has a fixed price on the pricing page: landing page, starter, custom or full. After a 30-minute conversation you get the scope list and the delivery date in writing, with the option of six monthly payments. Nothing beyond the agreed scope is added without it in writing first.

Which platforms do you build on?

Landing pages and smaller sites as fast static builds, full sites with a blog on WordPress, and rebuilds inside the platform you already use, such as Wix, Squarespace or WordPress. Every site is structured around buyer intent and tracked from day one.

Do I need a new website before running ads?

Not always a new one, but you do need a page that converts. Sending paid traffic to a site that loses it is the most common leak we see. Sometimes one focused page fixes it, and a full rebuild is only for when the foundation itself is the problem.

Will AI write my website?

AI speeds up research, first drafts and reporting. We run 14+ live AI workflows in our own operations. A person makes the strategy calls and has the final word, and nothing ships unreviewed.

How much of my time will the project take?

One to two hours a week at the start: access, approvals and interviews that pull out what you know about your customers. Then less.

How quickly can you start?

Usually 5 to 10 business days from a signed proposal to kickoff.

Do I need to be in Calgary?

No. We are based in Calgary and work across Canada and the US. In-person meetings in Calgary are available by appointment.

Let's just talk

Thirty minutes, online or in person in Calgary. We look at your current site and the searches your buyers make, and tell you what we would change first. If you want to see prices before we talk, they are on the pricing page.
